Nuevo post de Ariel: Happy B-Day mom

Good friends are hard to find. A true friend is someone who sticks by you no matter what is going on in your life.
Someone who really cares how you are feeling today. They ask how you are, not just because they want to be nice to you and make conversation,
but because they really want to know from their heart. And they care about your answer and respect you enough as a person, so that if you say
"Im having a bad day" , they are there for you, trying to make you smile and cheer you up, or saying
"Im sorry you are having a bad day...what can I do to help?".


I would like to introduce you to a good friend of mine. My best friend actually. She's smart, sweet, talented, strong, and sets a good example for me. When I grow up I want to be just like her. She's there for me no matter what is going on. Day or night I know that I can always turn to her, and she will be there, no questions asked. Shes one of those friends that always says "What can I do to help?"

Ive seen her help out her friends, neighbors, people she doesnt even know. Ive seen her walk up to homeless people and give them money a bazillion times. Ive seen her try to keep the peace between other people. Because thats what she is-shes a peace maker. Shes always got time to stop and help other people. Its like its her mission
in life to bless other people.

Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peace-makers: for they shall be called children of God.

She is a blessing to me in every single way.

This person is my mom.

Are you surprised? Dont be. If you met my mom, you would understand. She's my rock. Shes who I run to when I need help, or when I need advice. Shes one of those people that you meet and you say to yourself "Wow is that person as nice as she seems?".

With my mother the answer is...yep she is.

Today is my moms birthday. I was going to make her a card saying everything that I just said in my bulletin, but I want the whole world to know how much I love her.

Shes taught me so much. Shes taught me how to love other people. Shes taught me that when life hands you lemons you better look up a good recipe for lemonade lol! Shes taught me that there are some things that are worth standing up for. Shes taught me that good things come in small packages (my mom is tiny), and that size has nothing to do with
how strong someone is. Shes a lion in a mouse's body haha!
Fierce baby...shes fierce :)

So mom.....Thanks for helping me be the best person I can be. Thanks for always knowing the right thing to say. Thanks for loving me and supporting me. Thanks for being there and encouraging me to follow my dreams. You have sacrificed so much for me and never complained. Im lucky that you are my mom. You're the best.


HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!


Ariel<3> now go do something nice for someone who has been inspirational to you. I dont care who it is. Your mom or dad, a friend, a brother or sister, a neighbor.
These people need to know how much they mean to us. Clean the bathrooms for your mom. Help your Dad mow the grass. Send your best friend a cute e-card. Call your grandparents and ask them to come visit.

Just do it. It will make them happy. You'll be glad you did.
